Ghost hunters TV show anybody? Sci Fi Channel

Does anybody watch the Sci-Fi show Ghost Hunters? If so what do you think? Legit?

Anybody believe in or ever see anything odd? Live in a hauted house?

When i was 18 i moved in with my Aunt/Uncle and cousins, the first day i arrived as we all sat to eat, i heard these banging noises, then all the lights when on and off, and then few more noises and then back to normal, anyway right away my Aunt said oh thats just our ghost! I was like nah, then they told me a bunch of stories that sounded cool, but i didnt really think much. As time went by, i heard the Piano playing at like 2am, when i checked, nobody was awake nor near that piano, heard plenty of footsteps, others saw the ghost, not me.

But so far i have been getting into Ghost hunters, seems like its legit to me.

i always watch the show. when i was 10 i saw a figure of an old lady in my bathroom . the bathroom was across from my bedroom and i had just woken up so who knows if it was a ghost or my eyes . i believe it was a ghost.

What about the episode with the locker where you see the outline of the guy with the hat? The real freaky one was the one in which they were just in Ireland. You hear footsteps going across a wooden floor when there are no wooden floors in the place they were investigating.

Yeah that was crazy! When they caught the ghost with the hat on film was wild, very clear image of a man wearing an old hat, maybe military. In a couple of weeks new episodes start.

I love this show! This one and Most Haunted are two of my favs. I love anything to do with the paranormal. Too bad they don't have a Paranormal Channel to showcase all the Ghost shows! Also like that "The Worlds Scariest Places" show.

Good idea!

Thats a cool idea, a paranormal channel would be great. They could cover it all, ghosts, ufo's, bigfoot all that odd stuff. Back in the days unsloved mysteries would have many segments on ghosts, monsters & ufos.

the really cool thing is ghost hunters the taps group is in rhode island in warwick about 20 minutes from me. i don't worry damian im not afraid of the dark or ghosts

I like Ghost Hunters. As far as I know, they're legitimate. Brian is always screwing up and Jay is always yelling at him. Great stuff.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I've had some weird experiences.

When I was 17, we lived in a house with a full basement, and the stairs that led downstairs creak really badly whenever anybody walked up or down them. One night when I was up alone, I heard someone coming up the stairs. I figured it was my older brother since he lived in the basement, but he never exited the stairway so I went to see what he was doing standing at the top of the stairs, and when I checked, nobody was there. It was obviously not "the house settling". The creaking was too even, like someone waling up the steps. I had heard people coming up those steps for years and it was exactly the same sound.

In the same house, when downstairs, anytime anyone upstairs walked across the room, you could tell. You could actually tell where someone was walking by the creaks in the floorboards. The floors really creaked in that house. One day while downstairs, all alone in the house except for my mom who was also downstairs with me, we heard someone walking around upstairs. We knew nobody was up there since all the screen doors were locked.

Again, in the same house, we were downstairs one night watching tv, when my dad asked me, "Which one of the boys (my little brothers...they were no older than 3 & 5) just ran out of the room?" I replied, "Neither one. They're both right there on the sofa." And there they sat. He could have sworn he saw a little boy run past him.

Also, 11 years later, I had this apartment. One night I was lying on my back on the couch with no lights on, only candles burning providing enough light to see pretty much clearly, relaxing after work totally awake, when I stretched, and looking over my shoulder I saw a silhouette of a man standing in the doorway behind me. I jumped off the couch, and turned the lights on. There was nobody in the apartment but me. I was creeped out. I don't believe in ghosts. But something odd happened. This was my reaction...

Sounds like Ghosts to me! Cool story though!

I finally caught the episode of the " Ghsothunters " about the Charles manson murders. Now that was a creep episode, voices caught on tape, communication with the dead actor who Manson killed, And the cold spots!

This Wednsday there is another new episode on Sci-Fi

Oddly enough, I haven't watched this show, but maybe I should. The number of similar shows where they find absolutely nothing but still make an hour of it just aggravates me. So I'd kind of given up on them.

I grew up in a haunted house. In fact, we're pretty sure our ghost was my great grandmother. My mom, dad and sister have all seen her. I never saw her, but I often felt her pressence, and heard her moving about the house when no one was home. She was really into playing pranks. She loved to displace items, have us hunt all over the place for them, and then drop them in the most obvious of places. Her first big prank was stealing on of my shoes when I was only 5 years old. We looked all over the house for it, and then found it dead square in the middle of the living room floor.

Years later, my wife had a paranormal experience at a house we rented from my grandmother. A man walked through one wall of our living room and out another. Not surprising really when we discovered the house had been a funeral home at one point!

What most of the critics of the show who claim it's fake are forgetting,is that they're trying to disprove if a place is haunted. Prime example was this past Wednesday's episode.

Very true, the Taps ghosthunter guys go in trying their best to prove it could be anything but Haunted, many times it a plumbing issue with banging pipes making noise while all along homeowners that could be ghostly noises. The Ghosthunters guys work for roto rooter by day. anyway on every show they definitely try to recreate what can cause the site of a ghost before they just say " yep its haunted" that's what keep my watching.
