After being a Jets fan for 30 years and running I have become accustomed to them getting no respect. In fairness, most of the time they do not deserve much. However, this year is different than most: new coach, new QB, new RB, new defense. Teams can make excuses all day long as to why they lost to the Jets, but I guarantee that the Colts know the Jets are for real. This will be a hard fought battle for both teams and the winner will be he who generates the most turnovers. J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!

No more repercussions than the Cardinals making the Superbowl last year

Actually, they're the team I would root for right now even though I'm a die-hard Pats fan. Always thought Manning was a good QB and a team leader. Like the Saints too, Brees has really rallied his team but he's got a lot of solid players this year too, which makes it easier. Manning lost a bunch of his stability in recent years and he's still got them here. I really had more of an issue with other teams allowing a team that should not have been in the playoffs, IMHO, to get in and what the repurcussions might be if they did get to the big game.

There are no repercussions or ripple effect if the Jets go all the way, other than a party at my house. As for the Jets not rightfully being where they are; when the Colts pulled there starters it was in the 3rd quarter, buried inside their own 10, while nursing a 5 point lead. That was still anybodies game and the Jets were playing Manning very well. I do not know if they would have won the game if Manning had stayed in, but neither does anyone else, including Manning.
So win or lose, Colts or Jets, whose ready for some football!

Hey, I give the Jets all the credit in the world. Their defense is awesome. I was not happy with the Colts decision to pull their starters. They may got beat anyway, they may have not, but at least they would have gone down swinging. Trust me the Colts know the Jets are good enough to be where they're at, and aren't taking anything lightly. It will be a good game.

Also, keep in mind that the Colts (the players) are not happy that they were not "allowed" (or given the chance) to go undefeated (managements decision) ... that began with the game against the Jets. So, it's on!

Of course, anything can happen and we'll see where the cards have fallen come sunday evening.
