Gene Simmons on "I get that a lot" tonight

A show where they have the stars pretend they are look alikes of the stars they actually are. It looks like Gene will be playing some sort of mystical book shop owner. Looks hysterical:

    I think it's on CBS at 8

    That might be pretty good.

Was watching the one with Ice T last week ... He really did a good job making people believe it wasn't him

BTW, there used to be a collectible shop in Clifton, NJ called Outer Limits

The guy was a dead ringer for Paul Stanley.

I applaud these producers/creators---it's a neat spin on the classic
        candid camera type stuff.

I haven't laughed once so far with Simmons, Rey or Chen and we're half way in. Next is Hilton, Hawk and Snoop.

Who are Rey, Chen, and Hawk?

Ha. I actually was thinking of Rachel Rey---but I was thinking her name was
spelled "Ray" so I was confused. How about Tony Hawk? I know who he is
(the most famous oldschool skater) but is he that recognizable?
He must have a popular reality show I don't know about.(I don't watch cable)
I'll have to wiki this Julie Chen.
ANOTHER EDIT to add that Rachel's last name is indeed "Ray"

My bad. I thought it was Rey. Julie Chen is the host of Big Brother and anchor on CBS This Morning.

No biggie...I kinda figured it out before you posted it...i was just
curious as the premise for this show amuses me and I wanted to know
                        exactly who was doing it.

Yep, Chen appears to be a pretty recognizable face...even if I'm personally
                        out of the loop

So does Hawk have a popular reality show going on now?

I know he's a skateboard pioneer, but is his face all that recognizable to
                        people?

Tony Hawk wouldn't normally be all that recognizable so they were smart to put him in a skateboarding/surfing shop where the clientele would recognize him.

They also had Snoop Dog. I swear I wouldn't be able to pick him out but they had him as a parking attendant and it did appear that some people did recognize him.

Julie Chen was actually pretty hilarious considering how serious she is all the time. Gene Simmons...not so funny.

Last week they ran the premier and I can't remember everyone but they did have Jeff Probst working as a grocery store cashier and although he wasn't particularly funny in and of himself, it was funny in the sense that he made no effort to disguise his face, change his look, he even had the name tag "Jeff" as well as one of those necklaces he wears on "Survivor". When he was recognized most people said "you look like that survivor guy" and he made sure to say "Oh you mean Jeff Probst?" that was made it funny.

I was totally thinking that was what they'd have to do with Hawk.

I have feeling that I would have recognized him in a jif.
He's in TRAINING DAY and I watch that all the time.

                              Cool show.
