This is my take on it,It will truly be interesting to watch this evolve,It could go in some great directions.
They have the Bret vs Vince angle that's great.
They could have the Bret gets even with Michael's at wrestlemania angle.I think this would be the best approach personally.Bret acts as special ref for a Michael's match and screw him for the win or He doesn't screw him over takes the mic and tells him that's the way a man does it.

Or they could have a build up involving Randy the Legend Killer Orton. An Orton Hart match would be fantastic really.

Orrrr They could have him acting as a manager for a couple of Canadian kids.
As a tag team new heart foundation with Davey boys son and another hart kid or Jericho.
So much potential for this story line.

I gald to see Bret come back for a little while just show he can put things into perspective. I didn't want Bret to turn into another Bruno Sammartino who's so anti-WWE he's starting to make non-sensical statements like Rock & Stone Cold didn't draw.

Don't know why people blame Michaels for "the Screw Job". Bret was going to leave the company for more money without giving up the title. This is a no-no in the business. Vince made the call to change the match result unbeknownst to Bret. Shawn was just obeying the boss and looking out for the company. On top of that, he has tried to patch things up with Bret, but Bret won't let it go.

^ Exactly....Bret was being the ******....going to supposedly greener pastures in the WCW....But once he got there, they didn't know how to use him and he ended up taking a backseat to Hogan and the dragged out NWO angle.

First of all it was a screw job plain and simple. In the wrestling with shadows film Bret is mic-ed in his interview with Vince before the match and Vince tells him he can win the match and have the belt. Then the match happens and Vince screws him over in the end.Plain and simple.
As far as Michael's goes hes a gutless turd and after the match he and helmsley claimed to know nothing about Vince's actions to fact witch they both acknowledge prior knowings?
That to me is a screw job.
Business or not telling somebody something and then doing what you want that is opposite of what you told somebody you are screwing them over.
Ever ask a boss for a raise he says ya then you don't get one?
                    Guess what he screwed you...LOL

So letting it go Michaels is a two faced lying cowardly little female dog.
I'll give Vince credit for walking in that dressing room and taking it like a man.He stood up for his belief got punched in the face for it but stood there. The others were cowards.
How is it a no-no in the business?
                    People have retired as champ?
Hogan also refused to drop the belt to Bret but gave it to yokozuna???
                    Yokozuna really?
Now remember this is just scripted tv but from a story telling angle It would be a huge ratings grab to restart the michaels Bret feud.
I'm pretty sure any michaels or Bret fan would agree.
Hell they could even rehash the stone cold Bret thing.
All I'm saying is this is potentially a huge deal if handled well.

Never said it wasn't a screw job. Just that Vince did it to Bret, not Michaels. And retiring with the belt is different then leaving to go to another company and taking the other companies belt with you. It's never happened before or after, so why should Bret even think it was ok for him to do it ? He's not bigger then the business. Michaels and Helmsley were only doing what they were instructed to do by their boss. I guess you disobey your boss all the time huh?
And for the record Shawn Michaels is the most athletic, charismatic and talented wrestler ever.

Michaels in not more athletic than Ray Mysterio...not more charismatic than the Rock...and certainly not a better wrestler than Bret Hart.

Techinally it did happen before.....Flair showed up on WWF TV with his NWA Championship Belt (I think the NWA did not return the deposit he had placed on it when he was champion or something like that) and Alundra Blayze/Medusa Micelli showed up on WCW with her WWF Women's Championship and threw it in the trash.
