movies that most discovered by cable/TV that you actually saw in a theater
I will take my man pill and admit that I rode my bike 10 miles to the movie theater 3 TIMES to see Xanadu! 5 times for the Blue Lagoon and 4 times to see Flash Gordon! (I was in good condition at that time in my life - 12-14)
I saw Xanadu and Flash Gordon at the movies more than once too
I saw it at the theater...because Patrick Swayze was in it.
It was actually a direct-to-DVD movie...but after some critical acclaimed reviews... Newmarket Films decided to distribute it at theaters...but it didn't even brake even anyway.
But since then...it has become a huge cult classic...and it's now one of my all time favorite movies.
Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone.....one of Molly Ringwalds earliest movies......This Turkey of a Movie was supposed to be in 3D but as usual in the 80's the theater giving it sucked and i remember my buddy and i complaining about the 3D not working.....It was a Horrible movie that everyone heckled to death.
I remember afterwards we went to get Pizza on 42nd street. I told my buddy to order me a pizza with pepperoni and The smart *** odered it with anchovies........I just remember i was ****ed cause my Pizza Stunk of fish.....
