I've never seen Xanadu and I was and am a huge Olivia Newton-John fan.
In fact this is my computer's wallpaper.

I love ONJ, but i'm not afraid to admit Xanadu was one of the most boring movies ever.

The video was great, but beyond that the movie was horrible.

Comparing the two Xanadu made Sgt Pepper look like a good movie

It was actually a direct-to-DVD movie...but after some critical acclaimed reviews... Newmarket Films decided to distribute it at theaters...but it didn't even brake even anyway.

But since then...it has become a huge cult classic...and it's now one of my all time favorite movies.

Not sure if this qualifies but I saw Infra-man back 1975 at the movie theater.
