I hardly watch real tv. I have no clue what's on. The TV is stuck on Nickelodeon because of the kids---so I watch whatever's on there.

I feel your pain. With six kids my TV's only get three channels: Disney, Sprout and Nickelodeon.

              The shows I watch are:
              Monday: 24, Heroes
Tuesday: NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, V
              Wednesday: LOST, Leverage
              Thursday: Flash Forward
              Friday: Smallville, Numb3rs

Now, I know 24 and LOST haven't been on for a while. The last season of LOST is coming up. Not sure when 24 starts back up. Not sure if I'll stick with V or not. Most of these I record and watch late after the kids are in bed too. I'd say my favorites are Smallville and Heroes. Go figure.

I really dislike most modern television. I did finally get into watching and enjoying Big Bang Theory...but thats been out for a while now.

Ancient Discoveries is pretty good, although most of the recent shows have been re-edited segments from earlier episodes.

...and as much as I completely and totally DESPISE reality shows, I watch Ice Road Truckers every week! I used to work up in those areas when I was in the oil biz, so I guess I feel a bit of a bond with whats going on.

I always watch NCIS (even the reruns) but not sure if it counts as "new" its been on 6 seasons now. Couldn't get into NCIS LA though

BBC america - top gear but that's been on 7 years

Doctor Who when the show is running in season I anxiously await them

I never miss Batman Brave and the bold or star wars clone wars

NCIS is definitely my favorite TV show. However, I wouldn't consider it new if the definition is within the past year or two. With that criteria I have to go with The Dollhouse. Thought it would be stupid but gave it a chance and I got hooked.

                    Best Shows by decade:

                    60's - Star Trek
70's - Six Million Dollar Man
                    80's - Magnum PI
                    90's - X-Files
                    00's - NCIS

Let's see what can of worms that opens up.

I forgot to mention that I really like Big Bang Theory too. And it's not really "new" but I'm a 24 addict too. Can't wait until the new season starts.

It's in it 4th season but if you have never watched Friday Night Lights, do so. It's very good and it's not all about football. It's playing on Direct TV now and will be on NBC in January or Feb.

Glee is fun. Lot of attractive ladies, too.

Last new show I really liked was Earl, and that got cancelled. Heroes lost my interest after the strike.
