Toronto is officially the Ramones "home away from home", but the only time I saw them was about 1991 in Hamilton, Ontario. Joey came out and introduced a special unannounced set by local punk legends The Forgotten Rebels. Needless to say that the place went bat**** crazy. If your a Canadian punk rock fan, hell a punk rock fan in general, you just couldn't ask for a better double bill. Was definitely a highlight of my early concert going youth. Ramones forever R.I.P.

I think a lot of this style is returning. Put The Clash' "Train in Vain" on my last homemade CD and my daughter now listens to it all the time. Before that it was AC/DC. I'm such a terrible role model.

My 5 year old has been singing them too. It shows how damn catchy their songs are.

I think I have more bootleg 12" lps than actual albums by them

                        Fantastic Group.

I became a big fan in the 1980's in High School. While everyone else was into Glam Metal, I was listening to The Ramones and Oingo Boingo

I love the Ramones. Only got the chance to see them play live once...they were playing at some out of town former country music saloon/bar-type place. Awesome night. R.I.P Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee.
