    BEST 70's MOVIE

If you were involved in making a time capsule and was asked to include only one 70's movie, what would it be ?

The movie doesn't have to be the best movie ever made ...

Just something you personally think would be appropriate to represent the 70's ....

I would seriously consider Smokey and the Bandit.

    What about you ?

Star Wars or Jaws. My favorite would be One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Or how about Saturday Night Fever, if you want to represent a specific period of the 70's.

I almost said enter the dragon too (especially since it launched an entire genre of redubbed martial arts films) but i decided on Shaft

                    Star Wars or Mad Max.
Both I think were incredible films.

Double agreed. Tough to pick between the two.

Star Wars would probably be mine, just for its impact on culture.

Of course Saturday Night Fever should be the logical choice as it screams 70's but I'm not a big SNF fan.

Wow, that's tough. So many great movies came out in the 70s. Star Wars would be my choice, but I could understand including Jaws, Saturday Night Fever, The Godfather, or The Godfather II, Taxi Driver, Apocalypse Now, Five Easy Pieces, or One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
