I'll say I agree with you guys about the TNA ring and the red cage was crap. The dude looked like he had a hard time trying to climb out the top and then fell down.Maybe it was part of the show but to me it looked like he was just struggling way to hard.
The DX match could have been better if they were paired with a better tag team Jeri-go bye,bye and big show just were not that enjoyable to watch together.
I'm not a DX fan at all but Michaels and H clearly flow good together as a tag team.
And yes wwe has better looking gals!!!
For all the hitman haters out there that crowd spoke volumes when michaels and Vince were in that ring all you could here was cheering for the hitman.
The hitman still has a huge fanbase and could still sell some shirts I bet.It was great to see him in the squared circle again.I'm sure the Bret vs Vince thing is far from over.
Other than the occasional bit of TNA here and there, I haven't watched wrestling in a couple of years - but, because of this thread, I decided to watch both shows tonight. I flipped back and forth, like I did years ago during the RAW/Nitro years, and overall liked what I saw out of TNA better. The Styles/Angle match was terrific (save the stupid masked man run in angle) and it was fun to see Ric Flair show up. I could do without Hulk Hogan and his NWO buddies, though. But if they need Hogan there to get attention, then so be it.
The chemistry between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels is great, and I think that some of what they said, scripted or not, they actually meant. The Vince kicking Hart in the groin was predictable and stupid.
After the cameras were off many of the guys backstage came out and welcomed Bret back in front of the crowd, no Michaels or HHH though. Afterwards Bret went around the ring shaking hands with many of the fans at ringside before going to the back.
Brets contract to host was signed for January and February according to the local news about all this. So he's bound to pop up again. He wont..cant fight though, so the Orton thing was hooey. Mans had a stroke, and a back that may as well be made out of straw. Gettin' nutted at the end of the show probably taxed him....Still....I really wanted him to crush Heartbreak Kid. I HATE that goofball. Would have been nice to see him pop Vince too....maybe next week?
It took a lot for him to even do this I'm sure. Rumor had it that there was some financial issues in the Hart clan here (they had to sell their estate grounds a few years back, and eventually even sold the mansion (including the infamous dungeon). One of the brothers wants to release dvd's of the old Stampede Wrestling show, but Vince owns the rights when he bought out ol' Stu years back, so the family had to kiss some butt there.Last, but not least, as Vince mentioned, the Harts want Stu in the Hall of Fame. Dont know how that all works, but I'm betting Vince runs that too, so the only way to get him in there (where he deserves to be!) is to bow down to Vince and take one in the nuts for the family.

All that Makes a ton of Sense,.. and is very Logical, as to Why we even scene this....

After the divorce, paying people to listen to his daughter "sing", and paying off the family of the victim his son killed in that accident, I think ol' Hulkie had to do this...or else get used to saying "you want fries with that?"
I didnt watch the TNA show...he didnt "wrestle" did he?? I thought he would play the mouthpiece part that Foley and that other dude before him, were doing?
