The funny part for me was hearing his wife allegedly used a nine iron to smash out the windows of his utility vehicle to "free" him. YEAH... free him from what? The areas of his body the tree didn't get? Now what he had to do legally, as far as explaining himself, isn't nearly important to me as the manner in which he postured himself after the event. Sure he doesn't have to say anything. But when you tell the authorities your going to explain this event then recant with an attorney at the front gate well... Let's just say he is a public figure and while he doesn't have to reveal anything legally, the public will decide for itself what it does mean for them. And if it doesn't pan out in his favor, then he will just have to live with his "privacy" and accept the public verdict. I'm a big believer the truth always lies somewhere between either side of a perspective. I'm sure whatever really happened will not likely turn out to be as bad as what people will perceive it to be NOW. He should have given a reason and accepted whatever minor degree of embarrassment came with it. His silence has generated so much curiosity, that the media is trying to dig up anything on his wife. His silence has done his family a complete disservice. He is right about one thing. This IS his fault...in more ways than one. The bloom is off the rose.

It makes me laugh how these billionaire celebrities think they can pick and choose whats private. Is it a private matter ? Sure it is. But he's made millions upon millions from the public and the media. So pipe down and deal with it...Mr Woods...

Tiger's squeaky clean image is carefully crafted. He has been fined numerous times by the PGA for cursing and angry interchanges with spectators and fellow players. His last tournament at the Australian Masters he threw a club into the gallery. Some years ago GQ did an interview with him and he hasn't done one like it since. He told the photographers they had an hour and on the 60th minute he told them to F off he was done. Told some off color jokes and opined that the only reason that women follow black baseball and basketball is because they have big penises and adds with a smile "what about golf". Looks like he might have a little OJ in him, his wife used to work for another pro golfer so she has traveled in some circles, maybe she has a little OJ in her as well.
