Phil Lynott was good friends with Midge Ure and in fact Phil asked Midge to fill in for Gary Moore when he jumped ship in August of 79. Scott Gorham told me that in the dressing room, he and Phil would be getting dressed up in black and leather and Midge would have on Pink shirts and Yellow Balloon Pants!!! Scott would look at him in HORROR and say; "Midge were about to go out in front of thousands of hardcore fans and you're wearing that!" HAHAHAHA! It did work out though and Midge and Phil co-wrote this ditty for Phil's SOLO IN SOHO (Solo) lp.


The remixed version was used as the theme music to the British music chart television program Top of the Popsfrom 1981 to 1986. And I LOVE this tune!!
