    Very sad!

The good thing (if you can call it that) is this occured on a Military installation and he is military personell so the UCMJ takes precedence. Penalties are harsher and there is far less constitutional protection for the accused than in a civillian criminal court.

I hope he gets life a Leavenworth. it takes away his martyrdom and they can put him on physcal labor

        I agree here too.

I've heard from someone on the inside that the whole story isn't public yet. I'm not sure what that means, but I suspect there's a lot more that we just don't know yet. Regardless, a bunch of people have been killed, so whatever it is can't be good.

If military crimes fall under the umbrella of a federal crime... then yes, if the crime is treason.

And shooting up a military base when you're a member of said military sure counts as treason in my book. Treason, the one crime the federal government can punish with death.

              What?

I hope they televise his hanging.

I agree, I hope they kill him.

Life in prison would be so unfair to the victims for this crime

If people say it's for revenge, then so be it.

Revenge is sometimes a good thing and needed

As an execution, he should be bound and hung upside over a pail of urine and drowned in it slowly.

And I'm reminded of this guy. Which makes me think they really need to examine loyalty patterns. Two military incidents too many now.
