This Lone Ranger film has been coming and going for a couple of years now. Some folks figure it wont get made...Disney is fast tracking Pirates 4 for filming starting early next spring/summer. Location scouts were in Calgary and area (where Disney wishes to make the film) last year mapping out the locations for the Lone Ranger flick (which at that time had Clooney as the Ranger...I dont know if thats changed or not?).
If they film Pirates next spring, it doesnt give them enough time to film Ranger here in Alberta ....so that pushes it back another year. In other words, it either wont get made for a couple of years...will be made with a different cast (my hope)...possibly filmed elsewhere?...or it will get mothballed.
