Patrick was one of the good ones. Tough guy too. Most wouldn't last half as long with what he had and he continued to work too.

    RIP

I thought about your mom when I heard he died Sharry.

Nobody puts Baby in a corner !..LOL

The outsiders is where I first saw him and thought he was a great actor and destined to be huge.
      I liked all his films.
May he be at peace and pain free!!!

He made movies my wife loves like Dirty Dancing and Ghost, and movies I love like Red Dawn and Road House. I've always liked him and so has my wife, so it's a sad day at our house. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I liked Point Break as well, although Keanu bugs me. Luckily Swayze makes up for it.

We all knew it was coming, but it still sucks when it finally does.

I first noticed him in the mini-series, North and South. My teenage sister became obsessed with him, so when Dirty Dancing came out, it was Swayze all the time in our house! But I enjoyed his films too. He had a grounded integrity he brought to each role, no matter what he was in. From all accounts, he was a good guy. It seems like Hollywood kind of swept him to the side and only in his illness took note of him again, a shame.

I was reading a bio and just discovered he was in a short-lived ABC series called the Renegades...he played Bandit. I remember watching the series but never made the connection with Swayze. Tracey Scoggins is what stuck in my mind about the show.

Dirty Dancing and Ghost are must-sees in our house whenever they're on the tube....
                      RIP Patrick.

Same here. Point Break, in my opinion, was his finest movie.

My wife and I were just talking about him the other day. Always enjoyed his movies and whenever they popped up when I was flipping channels, I would usually stop and watch. He fought the good fight, but pancreatic cancer is one of the worst opponents. "Wolverines!!!"

North & South was not missed at my house. He was great in it. A good all-around actor and true gentleman. RIP Mr. Swayze.
