Check Atwood, Saltfork, Tappan, and Leesville lake areas. They are nice and on the water. They are in the general Canton/New Philadelphia (amish) area. Very nice. Let me know if you see anything there. Lake front properties are always nice and in the winter time, there is always Sandusky waterparks or skiing in Pennsylvania, which is not too far away. That area is close to both Pittsburgh, Columbus and Cleveland. -

yeah i'm sure it was too good to be true, i mean it's the price but the hood might not be want I was hopingMy guess is that if they are that low, you will find some undesirable neighbors. You better take a good look. Are you moving to Ohio?
I've seen where a 400 acre farm/ranch went for 199,000 in the country near where I live. Now that sounds promising. There are a lot of deals and steals in certain parts of Ohio. But always remember the rule of thumb, if it's too good to be true....
naw I don't want to move there, just thought it was a good price for a vacation home away from Miami

I'm from Cleveland. My father is from Akron and a lot of his family still lives there. Akron has a lot of not great areas. My assistant also lives in Akron. I'll check with them. Whenever I go to Akron, I always think how nice these houses probably were at one time, but they are run down now.Leave a comment:

My wife says that pretty much all of the houses in the 44302 zip code are crappy. Try looking in the 44320 zip code, there's a 50/50 chance of a better house.what about this one?

my father suggested i rent out a house in the "hood" to section 8 . he's not the most shrewd person financially so i didn't listen to him, but yeah houses are real cheap right now in michigan. wish i had more money to investThats not a bad looking house especially for that price.Looks like the house from 4 brothers....O I see the mom in the window!
Can be a good rent home, and I know there ways for the government can pay you for low income families to stay if you where to get a house.I'm still thinking of doing something like this also. But you also have to ask yourself why others havent jumped on it.Maybe its haunted.

Why would you want to come to Akron in the Winter? It's cooooold!!!
My wife says that address on Volga Way isn't in the best neighborhood. A lot of renters and Section 8.
How about we swap houses in the Winter. You come to Akron and I'll go to Miami!
