You know I was wanting to do the same thing,found some super cheap homes in Detroit.This was earlier in the year but the surrounding area was rough.I would like to find one in Hawaii something simple,just to go on vacation.

yeah i'm guessing the neighborhoods aren't too good here , but I find a decent one I'll take it, I'll fly over for a week or 2 and fix it up as much as I can and i'll be set
