Buh Bye. Atlanta is open to persue getting back all the bonuses that Vick received over the years. Gee, I sure hope he was a smart businessman and socked some of that money away.

Actually the recent Tank Johnson suspension wasn't given until he was released from jail. There's a new Sherrif in town and he's bringing down the hammer.

Forget the past and past suspensions from any previous commisioners. I expect at least a year suspension after he gets out.

You can stack up and disect everything Vick has done, at the end of the day he'll be a convicted felon

I think he'll play again, but I doubt he'll QB in the NFL again. Special teams, maybe a RB but he was perhaps the most over rated QB in NFL history anyway.

Yep, not only did he bet, but he was the ringleader for the gambling. The NFL will almost certainly suspend him for a long time even after he is out. A lifetime ban for the gambling aspect isn't out of the question.

If the NFL really wants him gone, all they have to prove is that he bet on the fights and he's out.

I don't think it matters what sport it is but it could be a loophole if they really want him gone.

He only decided to plead guilty once his "buddies" turned on him. If he would have been a stand up guy and admitted guilt in the first place, he would have looked better. This is more like "Oh crap, they got me. I guess I should stop lying" I really don't think the NFL will give him another chance, his career is toast. The Falcons will take advatage of this to drop him to clear some salary cap money for sure.

i don't think the guy should be allowed to play football anymore, these guys think they can get away with anything because they have money and fame. well, looks like he's getting what he deserves.

i would be surprised if he didnt play again. there is always ateam thats doing bad and needs people in teh stands that will take a chance on him. in 2-3 years most people will forget what he did as long as he wins where he goes. i hope not but wouldnt be surprised if it happeneed.

Vick's career is over categorically in every way. This puke turned to killing dogs with all of the advantages handed to him with endless endorsements and a bloated paycheck for playing football? He's a moron and should receive nothing less than the same consideration he gave those poor dogs. The average dog has better sense than this fool. The NFL will not have him back because this society will not tolerate it. Good bye Vick. May you spend your remaining years in a cold gutter where dogs pass by on their way home to a warm bed and a family that loves them because they respect life.

Vick is a piece of crap. He always has been and always will be. The only thing that has changed with him is the amount of money he has. That money never made him any wiser, any more caring or gave him any compassion. It certainly never made a humanitarian out of him. It's just gave him the means to do more of the bad things that he's always done.

Vick has squandered every opportunity that he's been given and thought of no one other than himself. So, he can go to hell for all I care.

Well, he'll get plenty of practice at receiver during the time he serves. Then he'll be more than ready for this position when he goes back to the NFL, if he does go back.
