Yeah i agree, but remember this idiot was a major Superstar in the sport,so they use people like this to make an example of

Don't get me wrong, what Vick is admitting to have done is reprehensible. I cannot even begin to imagin what kind of sick mind turns these creatures violent and the brutally kills them. He deserves what he gets.

By pleading guilty to these charges he does open the possibility to playing again by NFL rules. Oddly enough, had he admitted to betting on this stuff, he would have opened himself up to a ban. Admittedly, he can still be banned for this, but the league sees gambling as a worse crime.

It's insane, to take a hugely profitable career and throw it away to watch dogs fight. The guy deserves everything he has coming to him, and much more.

My sister's (thankfully!) ex-boyfriend was involved in dog fighting. It's disgusting. Trey (sister's ex) is a prejudiced idiot and hates African-American people with a passion, so I hope it causes him no small amount of discomfort to know he has something in common with Vick.

I hope his career is over. The guy had the world by its balls and he decides to do this.
No team will take chance with him.QB is the marquee position on the team and what you build your team around.Do you really think anyone who is trying to sell a teams image to the public wants him as their leader??

I'm sure he'll get banned.....No team wants that kind of negative attention. If I was an NFL player and He'd make my team I'd snuff his sorry butt with a Baseball bat...He's a Lowlife for Killing animals.....

As heinous a crime as this is, Vick won't do real time. He will most likely get a commuted sentence, pay a fine and do community service. If the NFL bans him it won't be for dog fighting, it will be for betting on dog fighting!

I've heard a lot of people say how dog fighting is a shadow culture and how it was all never enforced until they wanted to bring Vick down and make an example out of him. Bull, it's disgusting and everyone involved should do time. I've never been a Vick fan but sadly I'd say some team will take a chance on him in the end.

I hate the guy and wish he never plays again, but unfortunately there's always a team out there willing to give a second chance, especially to a big name player like Vick is,if I was the commissioner I'd ban him for life

The NFL has wisely kept their mouth shut on tis whole affair. I bet they will wait till he is sentanced, before they either out a 1 year or a lifetime ban on him.
