They loved Kenya and did not want to come back. Dylan said he would love to go to school there. Ethan cried all the way to the airport. Ashton wants to know when we are coming back.

started a topic Spock and Uhura do Kenya.

    Spock and Uhura do Kenya.

This is the cracker they served on the airplane. It looked wonderful and perfect scale for a baguette for Megos.

More photos to follow as time permits.

These Samburu were brave enough to pose with Spock and Uhura. One of them took off. I could not understand Swahili, but one of them looked frightened and walked away when he saw a closeup of Spock. It's really hard to photograph Spock and Uhura guys, in a foreign country. My relatives (my inlaws) just could not understand WHY I was toting them around.

Life is too short, and you MUST try everything just once. Even camel milk. (or yogurt). Yummy, actually. We tried the vanilla-flavored one.

Here is their love boat. Again, perfect scale for Megos.

Ever see tissues for men? Here is proof.

    Standing at the famous sign:

It's not really an exit. It's a way out.

There is a drought there. Weather is definitely unpredictable, and the farmers are devastated as their (rain-fed) crops wilt.

    At Lake Naivasha:

You could not see the hippos in the photos, but they are there. Their footprints were everywhere.

Funny signs abound. Well, maybe he is his girlfriend. This is 2009 for cripes' sake. Actually, this was an advert for ringtones. Weird, and surreal, isn't it?

In front of a Nakumat (a supermarket) in Nyali, near Mombasa. Their logo is the elephant. This was a very realistic one.

    A life-size bonsai:

    At the beach house:

Spock hates sand between his toes, just like me, so he refused to remove his boots:

A very empty beach, just us:

These beach crabs are less than 2 inches wide and are super fast. When they walk (run) along the sand, they look like leaves being blown about by the wind.

Here they are re-living that infamous chase scene at the cornfield on the Planet of the Apes:

There are additional photos posted on page 2 and 3 of this thread.
