I was a latecomer to KISS, my first album as a fan was Dynasty and I stuck with them in there leaner years in the early 80's and the non makeup years. I'll be picking up the new album, looking forward to it. I haven't picked up a music CD in years (I'm more of a DVD person).
Look, I treasured the fact that in 1997 (because I missed the 76-78 KISS heyday), the original 4 toured again but I knew it wasn't going to last forever so I enjoyed seeing the original 4 in concert 3 times in the late 90's. I knew that whatever pulled the boys apart once would do it eventually again but I knew Gene and Paul would continue KISS no matter what.
I knew that Anton Fig did some drum work for some of the KISS albums, never had the details (Anton Fig is now the drummer in David Letterman's show band)
