Don't just look for Megos, toys, etc. Look for anything that looks interesting. Buy it if it is $1 or less, come home and see if you have anything. Hell, these days, if you got an iPhone, just search it right there.

You buy 10 things less than $1 and sell them for $10 each, thats $100+ in your pocket.

I know Maryland has to have some great stuff. You are in the middle of where history was basically made in the US.

Not toy related but a few years back one of out local government buildings was cleaning out there storm shelter / fall out shelter . they trashed all kind of things. We went " dumpster diving and pulled out 30 or 40 round cardboard barrels for fall out shelter survival. they where from the 50's I guess and had basic supplies like medicine , bandages and stuff like that. We sold them things for 100.00 each on and off ebay for a year.

I bought Hulk #181 (first appearance of Wolverine) at a small garage sale for 10 cents when I was a kid visiting my Grandma (around 1980).

I found a wack load of old Bluenote jazz 10" rekids for 10 cents each. Sold them to a guy in Japan for just under $1000.
Had some luck with a bunch of Reggea 45's bought from same place for 10 cents and sold for about $20-$100 each.
Sold a Beaster doll (my pet monsters enemy) for $100 to somebody from Japan. Paid $1.
Sold my old tour t-shirts (Pixies, Cramps etc) for $100-$300 each. I miss them though, and now that I've been getting in shape and lost my gut I was working on, I could probably fit in them again.

Which shirt didja get $300 for?

I've snagged tour shirts over the years--just last month a found about 8 early 80's shirts (AC/DC, Van Halen etc etc) for 25 cents each at a yard sale.....the AC/DC's topped out at $50 each and I got $35 for the Van Halen and the rest were $20-$30.....

It was an old Led Zep tour tee from a concert stop at Exhibition Place in Toronto. It was one of those "date specific" shirts that they made/make specifically for that particular stop. The guy that bought it was from Toronto and had attended that concert, making it a bit more of a nostalgic item for him.
Can't say I'd go that high, but I just spent $60 + shipping for a 90's Swervedriver concert tee, and would go higher for their "fx pedals" tee which was my favorite shirt in high school.

About 6 months ago i nailed a loose Power of the force Luke as Stormtrooper in snow white condition. as a bonus the seller send me a jedi luke in baggie for free. Best part of the whole deal was my bid was $38.00 bucks with free shipping. I think it was a wife selling her cheating husbands stuff.
