Cronkie was probably best known for his giddy reaction upon the Lunar Moon Landing.

Here's a link from Mark Evanier's blog News From Me concerning the death of Walter Cronkite. It's from Countdown with Keith Olbermann, I believe, on MSNBC.
Sums up completely the quality of Cronkite's era of news reporting and the kind of reporting that 24-7 news channel's leave us with today. I would put money down that at least 25% of the staff, anchors included, had to be told who Walter Cronkite was.

So what's suppose to be the 'M' connection with him? Didn't really want to bring that up but I'm sure someone would sooner or later.

Walter Kronkite was famous for his emotional broadcast of the Kennedy assasination.
J.F.K. was assasinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. Lee Harvey Oswald's wife's name was Marina with an M.

          Coincidence? Perhaps.

R.I.P. Mr. Kronkite. Best news anchor ever.

I thought he died last year. Anyway, hope he finds peace.
