Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
      Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

... Is the Name it was given,.. for this world by my Brother,.. & that Ultimately wound up in all my Friends & Family calling it the same.

Whatever,... they don't get it,.. won't never get it.... & it was definately a weird conversational piece when my fellow construction workers & foreman had heard about it.

I've occasionally seen some people in this hobby jokingly refer to their figures as "dollies" for years now. I think it's funny, and I'm sure some "outsiders" would call this stuff exactly that. You have to have a sense of humour about your hobby sometimes.

I started calling this place the "club". I say I joined a Mego Collectors Club on the internet - and I say "someone in the club" or my friend from the club said. or I bought this figure from someone in the Club. On occasion, I say someone on the boards.

I think "the club" makes us sound cool

I never mention this place outside of the digital confines of the Museum.

Actually doesn't come up much. But I usually refer to the Museum as "the community" or "the board". Like before I go to Mego Meet and I'm asked about to explain it. I'm say I'm going to pic up pieces for my collection but more than that that it's a get together for the community. When I show off pics of my collection and others. I'll show mine first and then say "if think that's something look at what som eother people in the community have!". For some reason when I use "community" there seems to be an immediate understanding with no further questions. Again though it really doesn't come up much since the majoirty of people I no know have no real interest in the hobby outside my involvement in it.
