That was a fantastic fight...Pryor pulled out the major upset in the 14th round on that one.

It's considered one of the greatest fights ever.

It's known as the "mysterious water bottle" fight.

Arguello remained very friendly with his old rival Aaron Pryor, and the pair saw each other several times a year until his death.

      .
I was just reading that, Dude. (unsanctioned water bottle...possibly a cocaine mix.)

Say, it was true.... it don't take anything away from the man of the hour. It just make his stand all the more remarkable and even if we forget all that, DAMN!!!!

      What a fighter, Dude.

God knows I won't judge anybody, but I if he did commit suicide, I just wish he could have reached down inside him one more time to fight against it like he did in that fight.

      RIP.

As we (my wife and I) came to his table for an autograph he stood up, kissed my wife's hand and welcomed us. Later that day an older woman was attempting to climb some stairs and Alexis saw this, dropped what he was doing and ran to the lady and helped her with the stairs. Not too many stars would do that. This has hit me hard so I'm done posting about him. Sorry
Thats a really cool story. Sounds like a real stand up guy. RIP Alexis Arguello
