The Ethiopian Orthodox Church says they have it (and this has been speculated and reported on for some time). The connection, and it is purely legend, is through Menelik the First who, according to legend, is the son of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Supposedly, Solomon sent the Ark to Ethiopia with his son.

There are many holes in this legend, so take it with a grain of salt (despite the claims of the Ethiopians).

According to a bunch of new releases on Wednsday, the Ark ..the real Ark...was supposed to be revealed to the public today. Depending on the article, it was either to be shown by the Vatican, or shown in Ethiopia, where it has long been rumored to have been hidden away.

All I can find in the news in Michael Jackson hooey....Anybody know if it was shown today? If it was, even if it is a fake, and the press went with Mikey J stuff instead....Well, thats a pretty said statement about media priorities in my book.

So what happened with this story? I'm kind of curious. I didnt see any more about it.

As mentioned above, the Ethiopian Orthodox church unofficially confirmed they have the Ark...as has been rumored forever. Coast to Coast's web-site mentioned the other day that the Church was originally planning on releasing a picture, but may have chickened out?

I guess we have to wait!

Sounds exactly like that dude who claimed to have a dead Yeti/Bigfoot last year! He went on for days that he had it secretly hidden on ice, when it came time to show the world , his story changed! He never had a Dead BigFoot!

Yeah, it was a fake. At least he had the decency to buy an expensive fake yeti suit and stuff it with deer innards. Its all in the attempt.
These guys coulda at least, spray painted an old washing machine with gold paint or something!!
