Why is this disgusting? I don't get it at all. When somebody famous dies there is a reevaluation of their career. And yes, people will profit from it--big deal.
Let's not forget FARRAH WAS A COMMODITY!
Would it be wrong for a tv station to start playing episodes of Charlie Angels right now? I mean, would they be "exploiting" Farrah's death to sell advertising?
How about when a musician dies and their CD sales increase? Should the record companies, out of respect for the artist, refuse to sell the deceased artist's albums? Of course not.
This is just silly.Comment

Before David Carradine died I couldn't get 20 bucks for his autograph.
The day he died I listed it on ebay with a $50.00 BIN and it got snapped up in 15 minutes.
I didn't wish he died, but it happened so I took advantage of the situation.
I have no regrets -- like I said, business is businessComment

I can't really blame some sellers unloading some Farrah stuff when the iron is hot, so to speak (I'm keeping my Farrah stuff though) but I shake my head at all the mindless sheep who now all of a sudden decide they want to buy Farrah items (at inflated prices) because of this.Comment

There's a lot of people that see a chance to make money on someone's death and it's really sad. I'm sure we will see alot of Michael Jackson stuff also.Comment

i noticed that about the Farrah dolls too. Doesn't mean they will go for big money but there are certainly people who will look for them. In a few weeks it will be business as usual.
Next will be all the Michael Jackson crap up for saleComment

I haven't seen what any have sold for but it doesn't make sense to me. Autograghs going up I get, because suddenly what's out there is all there is. A person passing away pretty much automatically makes an autograph a hot commodity. The dolls I don't see what difference it makes. Sure people will try to cash in but I realy don't see why anyone would suddenly want to doll just because the perosn it's based on died.Comment
