Many local police think they're god

Travis county cosists mostly of Austin, TX. Not exactly a rural environment.
Tasering for speeding? Looks like both of these hotheads had a chip on their shoulders.

Yeah, granny definitely played her part in this, as well.

This situation could have easily been avoided if he had just let here go from the start.
He can tell she wasn't drinking and didn't have any outstanding warrents against her.
Just let her go, keep her plate number and mail her the ticket.

Many local police are just plain nasty people.

I had a local cop pull his gun on me once because he thought I was reaching for "something".
In reality I was just picking up my pants like 99.999% of all human men when they get out of the car.

If all local rural police were fired and replaced with Staties there would be a lot less of this, imo.
Dude when was the last time you were pulled over by a state trooper?
Last time I got pulled over they(two of them) walked up to my truck guns drawn pointed at the ground mind you but still drawn.

Every time I visit the U.S. I get stopped and every time the officer has a gun out!?!?!?!?
But you know what I sit in my vehicle with my hands on the wheel and do as they instruct. They say get out I get out hands up/out to the side what ever.Guess what?
I've never been tasered and I'm a heck of a lot more intimidating than grandma. But I listen co-operate and proceed.

No I don't get tickets either just routine stops as I have Canadian plates.
Funny thing though as soon as they get my ID and see I'm from Canada the attitude usually goes away, same as the gun?

I've never been pulled over by the RCMP or any city cop with a drawn gun.Your guys are super paranoid down there!!!
With just cause I might add but still paranoid.

“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”

"Man dies after police use Taser"

            He was 39.

Age is a factor in these cases because an elderly person is obviously not as robust as a younger one, and an elderly person is certainly more prone to heart failure from a taser, for example.

(To the tune of Grand'ma Got Runover by a Reindeer!)

Gran'ma got tasered by the police

Driving to our house one summers day

Some say the police dont like tasers

But as for Granny, she'd have to disagree

                  ....everybody join in...OHHHHH......
