My best summer memories are from around 1974. I too had the ice cream truck, the staying out until dark. I had a best friend who moved away a year later, but from 1971-74 we were inseparable. Megos, Matchbox cars, Evel Kneivel toys, wiffle ball, and florescent 70s style skateboards.
