I dropped the weight on my own, but I was loosing muscle weight as well. I replaced that and built it up thanks to his help. Still got a ways to go on that side of things, but I find that time at the gym after a long day of work is kind of like therapy.
It's cool Dave, what i told Dave to do was pretty much the Basic way to start when you start with a trainer... which is do every part of the body at least once or twice a week.

Depending on your size and strength(I'll tell you reps & sets),I do these programs for my friends all the time(and hot chicks I see that don't know what they are doing ,That's not the correct form to do squats, here let me show you ). It's the same crap a PT is going to charge you $50-$75 an hour for in the gym.I just know it's a rip off,and I hate to see people that need it get jipped (That's why i hate sales people at gyms ) They trick people into believing they could drop 100 lbs. in 2 weeks with a personal trainer just to get them to sign a contract

Most gyms give you at least 1 or 2 free sessions (sometimes more if you act like you haven't decided yet) ,Take advantage of this and write it all down. Don't pay for anything unless of course you need the motivation and someone there telling you what to do( Which is fine, many people are like that)

Good luck gentlemen I'm actually trying to gain as much as I can now,to then drop it again. I hate this part of the year

It's ok to slip up once in a while. The trick is not to get to into the diet where you'll just hate it and force yourself to eat something you don't want. Eat as healthy but good as you can for 3 days and then cheat on the 4th(I'm not telling you to eat 3 whoppers) but something decent, that way your motivation will be to reach that 4th day and eat what you want and feel good about it.

6lbs. in one month would be a great pace
