My house on Googlemaps!

I know a lot of people know about this but this is actually kind of scary.
For some that don't know, there are satellites in the sky and if you go to

Google Maps

and type in your address and play around with it, it will eventually find your house and show you the latest updated shot of your place.

Here is my house. Kind of creepy it can do that.

Found mine, but by the look at the road construction sign in the yard it was taken last spring. I wonder how often they update it.

I found this neat little trick when looking up directions to a friends house for a holiday party. I thought that it was pretty fudged up, and then looked up my own address.
We have a long skinny plot that our house is on and the photo was taken from across the street. Mostly, it is a picture of the side of our neighbors house. lol
I havn't told anyone they have the wrong house there, but I will have to warn my neighbors if'n anyone comes gunning for me.

^^ They probably get the photos from your local tax office; so however often the appraisers come by in your neck of the woods.

I just did a screen shot capture CTRL button with the PRTSC SYSRQ button the same time.


Then I opened paint and created a new blank picture and pressed the CTRL button with the letter V at the same time and it plopped the whole screen I save into the white picture. Then I cropped what I needed, resized it and saved it as a jpeg. Easy.

I went to http://google.pants.com and typed in my address with a basic pantal description; it's eerie what you can find!

If you zoom in it will eventually come up with an image of your pants.

Used this for a customer that said she didn't get a package and freaked her out when I commented on her house. I was using it to see where UPS said the driver had left it. She freaked when I knew specific stuff. Some of the pics are really clear too. Is a bit scary to think what's possible nowadays.

Last time I checked Google maps, I'm outside with my in-laws. Luckily, they got the addresses a little wrong and if you google my address it puts you a few houses down the street.

Last time I checked Google Pants, I was blowing in the wind. They keep that one pretty current.
