That has been my general assumption about most any new place to open. People first flock to it like bees to honey. Than after the new wears off and they have tried it and bragged to all of their family and friends that they have been there and done that now they are more like "flock it" then flocking to it anymore.

Been there and done that. Not bad food. I still kind of wonder as most of them opened rather rapidly here and then vanished just as quickly. I did not think that they were that bad. My guess is that they could not compete with the golden arches (McDonald's). I myself personally would rather eat almost any where but Mickey D's I am just not real big into the whole rush in and rush you out when it comes to fast food restarants. Kids climbing and crying everywhere because they did not get what they wanted. I like to take my time and enjoy a really nice meal in peace at a finer establishment, but that is just me. To each their own

I have tried JITB both in Phoenix and St. Louis. Most of their food is just way too greasy for me. They had some kind of a new sub sandwich and maybe still do. It has been a while since I have been to any of them. I remember the sub sandwich being pretty good though.

I have not yet tried an In and Out Burger although I have relatives in Texas that talk highly of the establishment. I also seen Txteach mention it a time or two here at the Museum. That is one place that is on my to eat list when I go and visit my relatives in Texas the next time.

That is ok. Thanks for the heads up though. I will still try one irregardless. I try to try almost everything at least once to see if I like it. If it is really good I will be having it again and again.

They opened one next to Gillette Stadium (home of the Patriots). Tryed it out I would give it about a 6 or 7 out of 10. There good but no great value for your $.

They also opened a Red Robin, but I haven't tryed it yet.

Have a Jack around the corner from me and an In&Out an equal distance in the opposite direction. Haven't been to I&O in awhile. I really dont care for their fries but their burgers are good.

We have new one but I haven't been yet. They took the place of Cheeburger, Cheeburger. No In & Out's in Bama. We do have a Red Robin, which I love.

I have been to Five Guys about 4 times since I last posted. Very good burgers and LOTS of fries. Two Thumbs Up.

                                I'm surprised Jack-In-The-Box isn't nationwide yet, though.
                                Or are they now?
                                Rich
Jack in the Box is my favorite fast food place. They're only in 18 states though. I wish they were nearby, but they haven't made it in the NE US yet.

I can't swing a dead cat without hitting two Five Guys though. They're growing like crazy; four years ago, the only one I knew of was in DC, now they're in dozens of locations in Philly.
