OMG! That guy is beyond stupid! What's amazing is that it took 7 mins, and not less time to cause an accident. And those poor people! I have to ride around in those buses w/ my mom to go to doctors appointments, and stuff like this scares the hell outta me!
This video should be required viewing for potential drivers. What really gets me, he had a PHONE. I know that talking while driving isn't all that safe, but it's a helluva lot safer than trying to text while driving!

Couple of months ago our newspaper ran a story about what truck drivers actually do behiond the steering wheel after a number of bad accidents had happened involving trucks. The story had plenty of pics of truck drivers reading the newspaper, eating and drinking, with their feet up on the steering wheel, ... you name it. But this one takes the cake tho, this was filmed on a Belgian highway, Romanian truck driver

Wow, this really hits a nerve. As some of you may know I'm a "child/youth worker", and recently in the span of about six hours I saw two different staff members texting while transporting kids to/from school.
Jeez, when you are getting PAID to look after/protect OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN, the least you can do is put your friggin' social life on hold until the kids are out of the car.
And IMHO cell phones at work are/should be for emergency purposes only. If it's an emergency, pull the damned car over.Comment

Jag Off. I'm beginning to think personal ones should be restricted at work. Especially if your driving or operating equipment. Ridiculous. I have a co-worker who will just stop what he's doing to text his GF, even if he's working with other people, so we're all waiting on him to finish up.
