Well, there was a show in Europe that had Mark Hammill.
    For one autograph: 140 Euros.

That's about $160, thank you very much.
Mr. Hammill insisted it was worth it, as it was going to be "one of the last times he'd sign SW autographs".

Welcome to the Dark Side, Luke.....

Most of the stars command 20-50 either way no matter who they are. Retired " wrassl"ers " and others slide down the " c,d,e,f list " of stars and get what they can for autographs.

I think it's stupid too to pay that much for anyone , but it's the market for a legit / inperson autograph from a true legend .
Not really,at the FX show you hardly ever see anyone go past $40,Only Spike $40,Spock $70 and Adam West last year $50 have gone that high

You are paying for the name there.

There are tons of tat artists just as good as those guys...and they charge a lot less.

However...I bet you would pay top dollar for Kat Von D to tat you something on your inner thigh.

Your right in some way. However, I personally like to think of it more as how stupid people (the fans) are for actually paying these people (the so called stars) the prices that they are commanding. IF people would quit shelling out the money to them (the so called stars) their prices would not be that great. It is kind of like people planting grass seed. The first thing that they want to do is plant grass seed to have grass. Then once the grass grows they complain about having to cut it. I just don't understand the logic (if one could really call it that) of some people and what their thought process is. It is really a no brainer when I see and hear about most of the people in the U.S.A. being in debt up past their eyeballs. Then they want to be bailed out due to their own stupidity in the first place. Unreal!
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

                            And he's dressed in black.
If we could read his lips, he's probably whispering in the kid's ear: "Listen, kid. Unless you want Jabba the Hutt showing up at your door, you'd better hand over that pocket money. Yes, you know you want to give it to me..."(using the old Jedi mind trick)

Wow, sorry you thought it sucked. I personally thought it was the best show in the last five years, and I have been going since the second show. It was bigger than last year, and a couple of previous years. It had a more varity, the toys, autographs, tatoos, urban vinyl, and comic artist. I was really into the comic artist this year, spent a good couple of hours there. This section was about 3 times the size of last year.
I didn't know Nemoy was $70, or I might have gotten an auto from him. The Flyer scared me away from even considering, advertising 175-300 to sit in on a talk with him. I assumed an autograph would have been 125 or more. $70 is nothing when you compare it to a sports star. Spock is a legend. 12-15 years ago Dimmago was charging $200, imagine what he would charge now. Montanna, 125+ for flat 8 x 10 or smaller. Heck nobodies charge like 30-50 around here for Tampa Bay players.

As for deals, your really not going to find them much at shows, every once and a while. Ebay or here are the only places for deals. I go to the show for the experience, to meet guest, comic artist creators, and people who dig toys. I had many great chats with the guys from Castaway, and also Art. I took many bussiness cards home and will probably do some after show buying from that.

I'm glad you enjoyed it bro,did you think it was better then the one in the fair grounds a few years back? to me that was the best one by far

                                I know $70 isn't as bad as some people i've seen and I know I'll regret when he dies,but i don't know I just could'nt pay it.

Now DiMaggio I would've payed in a heartbeat I guess that's the sports freak in me.

Dan Marino would be one of the only ones I'd pay pretty much anything for
