I can't believe the pettiness!

I don't really buy a whole lot on Ebay maybe one item every couple of weeks and have it sent to my work location so it isn't sitting around my home mailbox when nobody is home.

I just found out from my boss that someone has been complaining that I have been receiving a lot of packages and he told me it really wasn't a big deal but thought I should know so as not to cause some type of "negative" perception about me. Why this should cause a negative perception; I don't know.

I explained to him that I do have a few personal packages come here and there but nothing outrageous and as a matter of fact the mail is delivered to our receptionist and I personally go pick it up so it doesn't have to be routed through the mail room or put any unnecessary burden on anyone but if it was brought to his attention; I will just have it sent to my house as not to overburden someone with placing a one pound package at the receptionist desk to pick up every few weeks.

I really don't get the pettiness of some people.

That is so ridicules! It never ceases to amaze me how much people can't seem to just mind their own damn business. But I guess it's just natural for most to go looking for something to ***** about.

I found out that people without any power are the ones that complain the most. I guess it gives them some false sense of importance.

I agree. That IS very petty. Some people are really something or at least they think that they are anyway. Most of the time I have found that those type of people are miserable and want everyone else to feel the same way they do. It actually makes them happier when someone else is more miserable then them. I say F those people. Those type of people I can definitely live without in my life.

That is really petty, there is always some sourpuss out there that has to ***** about everything, even if it doesn't affect their life in the least.

I'm glad I work in a small office, and everybody is totally cool and laid back. I recently had a big stroller and baby car seat shipped to my office, in huge boxes, and no one blinked an eye.

Yeah, I've thought about having a few things shipped to work, but I'm afraid of the same complaint. I wonder how many employees who complain about money spent having personal packages delivered to the mail room do things like "accidentally" bring pens, staplers, paper, home with them?
