I just woke up about 15 mins. ago. To start things off I had Honey Nut Cheerios for breakfast or "noon fast" as I like to call it. Still deciding were we are going to go eat some real food at later. Still too early yet to think.

You're Catholic right? I think we are supposed to fast today but I've never followed the rule. In fact, I haven't even been observing the no meat on Friday rule during Lent with the exception of today. I had a protein bar for breakfast and egg salad for lunch. I getting ready to head out of town for Easter (3 hours) and am trying to decide what to have for dinner.

Yep,
My family, about 100+ years ago, used to follow the Eastern Orthodox traditions they knew in Poland when they first came to the US -- where they'd fast for days without eating anything until Easter.

Today, we're way more Americanized and just do the Friday fish thing
