Man I remember my mom taking me and my sister to the plaza and leaving us in the car while she went clothes shopping. It seemed like hours but I'm sure it wasn't that long. We used to lock the doors and roll up the windows in case any "bad " people wanted to steal us. LOL.

The 80s were ok for me...for one thing...that's when I started to work...and one of the first...was a horrible security guard job...I really HATED that job...it's so embedded in my brain...that when someone mentions the 80s...that bloody job pops into my mind, argh.

Love the 70's but 80's were about having a job and dating girls way better than playing with toys........Comment

I do not disagree about missing the 70's as it was quite indeed a great era. However, I am pretty content with the technological advances being made today. For if it were not for the internet I may have never realized that you even existed and vice versa. I have always told my friends that I wish I had everything that I have right now and be back at the tender age of say 21 or so. That would be awesome. Not that I am really complaining now or anything.
What I'm saying is that at that time, I had the best time of my life at that age...no worries about working or having responsibilities.
I also love technology....and I'm quite content living in the present.sigpicComment

Speaking for someone who went to high school and college - all within the seventies - it was a really great time to be young. The seventies were full of all of the excesses of the sixties, without any of the political conscious or sense of social responsibility. It was nothing but a party. Most of the time.___________________________________
