I told him that when he grows up he gets all of daddy's Megos. I didn't explain that it's only after I die. I don't think he'd understand that.

I asked him several times what "squishy" means and all I could get from him is that since his Mego Batman and Robin have squishy heads, and he thinks that the 60's Batman and Robin are the same as his Megos, that makes the 60's Batman and Robin "squishy".

He says that none of the villains are squishy so maybe that's the answer. He doesn't have the Mego villains yet. Then again, the meaning could change in 5 minutes. Who knows. If I ever get a definitive answer, I'll make sure I post it. For now, this will have to do.

I'll ask my boy. He might be able to translate.
      :-)
Thanks for posting! As a MEGOdad myself, I just loved your telling of the tale. Nicely captured.

I asked my son if he could translate "squishy" for me after reading Bryans post. What I got was..." Daddy , Batman is not squishy...you being silly." So I hope Bry has better luck with Florian...if not it will remain a mystery.

I "think" I may have had a squishy today. Wasn't "squishy" the term used on Bart Simpson? I think it was The Simpson's version of a Slurpee?

That's not a lame post, at all. That's very cool. My kids love superheroes, though my 4 yr. old is much more into Star Wars right now.

When my son was almost exactly that age he was really into his matchbox cars. I have a videotape of him being handed each one of his dozens of matchbox-type cars and being quizzed on what type of car it is and he knew the names of every single one except one that made a beeping noise and the headlights would flash when you pressed down on it. That one he called a "Beeper" but it was actually a BMW so Beeper isn't too far off from Beemer! LOL
