I've underestimated shipping on more than one occasion (especially in my ebay newbie days). Like Mike, I just took the hit myself, my mistake wasn't the buyer's fault.

See has relisted the item with the added shipping $13.00 shipping for a boxed Barbie! Her others are listed at $12.00 shipping. I guess she is trying to make up for the extra buck she sent me for fees!

What a joke and she has been a member since June 2001!

I hate it when they try to con you on shipping.
First they lure you in with "a bargain", then they start pushing you for more $$.

I just saw that and someone else just nailed her for the same thing, on a batgirl.

I just sold a cookie jar on ebay.

I was lazy and just guessed the shipping price .. which I guessed $13.00

After the buyer won and paid I found out when I went to the PO it actually cost $21.00 shipping.

But, it was my fault and my mistake -- and I quietly took the hit without even mentioning it to my buyer.

It's the honorable and right thing to do.

Exactly! This is the difference between responsible people and those unwilling to accept responsibility for their actions. Unfortunately, there are more of the latter in this world. Good Show!
