Man I loved those cookies in your first link.
I remember I could still find them at the CVS in the mall up until about 5 years ago or so when it left that mall.
    Have not seen them since.

That jogged my memmory on my most favorite cookie of all time.
    Stella-doro Swiss Fudge
I see they have them listed on their site again
    cookies
But I have not seen any locally in over 8 years.

I used to get them from my great-aunt for birthdays and xmas.
They were such a treat that I would make them last as long as I possibly could just to enjoy them that much longer.

All this talk about those McD hot pies has got me thinking about
how those pies and the cookies from McD back then were THE staples
        of my childhood desserts/treats!

JELLO Pudding Pops. I used to love the vanilla and banana flavors. You can't buy boxes of them, any longer, as far as I know. I think you may be able to get a small version of the vanilla flavor in a Fudgesicle variety pack.

I remember getting the McD's pizza combos. A personal size pizza and french fries, the only time I ate those two foods together.

^Check Wal-Mart. I've seen those there although they sell them in potato chip type bags so I don't know how well that would taste.

OK, I just thought of one and before you say, "Oh they still make those."...NO, THEY DON'T!
Salerno Holiday Jingles cookies. The anise-flavored hard, thin cookies shaped like Christmas symbols with red & green sugar crystals sprinkled on them. You could only get them at Christmas-time. They came in a clear, crinkly plastic tray inside the box and it would catch all the loose sugar sprinkles which was like a huge treat to devour when all the cookies were gone.
Yes, Keebler still makes them with the same molds but they have like 1/4 the amount of sprinkles and they changed the recipe. They don't taste the same!!!

There used to be a brand of chewing gum called Big Buddy. It came in a foot-long (or so they claimed) slab in a variety of dangerously sweet flavors. I also fondly remember a Bosco rip-off called Clanky. It was chocolate syrup that came in this brown plastic astronaut-shaped container. It was better than Bosco!

Chef Boyardee Mini Pepperoni Pizzas. They used to come 4 in a box. They were about the size of a CD and they were awesome. I loved them as a kid and then BOOM! They were gone.

Anyone remember Rondo? I miss that too.
