One thing I wish I could still get today is the McDLT. Remember those? Hot on one side, cool on the other. I loved those things!!! I remember me and a buddy of mine would get two each and just inhale those bad boys. Later it became the McLean (not quite the same) and today they try to sell it as a "Big N'Tasty" but it's not even a shadow of the original. Anyone have a favorite food they crave, that they can't get anymore?

Although I don't eat sugar anymore, I miss chocolate covered Twinkies. I can't remember the last time those were produced. I also fondly remember Mcdonalds Shamrock shakes. I have no idea if they still make these, but those were goooood.

As for the shakes I think they still make those at St Patricks time?
I can't think of anything off the top of my head right now but I'm sure something will come to me and i'll post it later.

Mine for me would be "Burger Chef" I LOVED Burger Chef. That's where I got my Darth Vader and Chewbacca posters that were up on my wall for 20 years at my old place. I remember the fountain cokes tasted wonderful! Even the apple pies were good. Man, I wish I had a time machine I could do with a to-go order there.
Another one was a 50's related drive in right in Kanawha City in Charleston right near my house, I got to eat burgers, or dogs and fries whilst listening to the '50's. Man, what else could a kid of 9 want?sigpic

Bar 6 chocolate bars. McDonalds pizzas...dont know why, but I was craving one the other day!!??
I used to miss the old Ponderosa/Bonanza steak chains too. When I was a kid we used to eat there once a month at least. Last year I stumbled across one still operating in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan......Long story short, I barely made it back to my hotel room in time.....Lets just say I dont miss them anymore!!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

Wiener King! There used to be a fast food place called Wiener King. It was right beside our Burger King. They had the best cheeseburgers! Also miss the BK Ice Freezee and KFC's small buttered rolls.Comment
