We had The Wide World of Disney on Saturday mornings for a short time up here. They would just rerun the episode from the previous sunday. I dont think its on at all anymore....I miss it, mainly for the holiday specials. Chip n' Dale and Donald having an all out war on Christmas Eve being one of my favourites.
Never had the Mickey Mouse Club on our local rural tv back then.

WB's Looney Tunes...the KING in my book.

As much as I enjoyed Hanna Barbera as a kid...the animation really sucks.

Waly Disney obviously had amazing animation...but really boring toons.

Walter Lantz gets overlooked a bit...but those Droopy Dog toons are some of the funniest ever, lol.

Gotta go with Hanna-Barbera- so many classic characters I grew up watching. Who cared about the animation style when you were 7 and Space Ghost was on?

I do have to mention the '80s-90s studio DIC, not because they were any good, but just because the shows always ended with some kid saying the name of the company as "DEEK" which I always thought was French sounding for "DICK". Always made me laugh to think you would name your company Dick. Why not Peter or Willie?

Droopy was produced by MGM Studios (Same as Tom and Jerry, Barney Bear, etc.), not Walter Lantz.

Old school WB Loony Tunes, HB stuff from the 60s ala Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, Fleischer Popeye and Supesand the Bruce Timm DC stuff. And yeah, not much love for 80's since most of it stunk up the tube.

I did say I enjoyed Hanna Barbera as a kid...but as an adult...well...I just can't sit through a single Hanna Barbera toon now.

Looney Tunes on the other hand...has endured the test of time.

If I think about it, you're probably right in that I'm probably more in love with the HB characters and not the actual product.

Yeah, agreed, nothing beats Hong Kong Phooey, and Thundarr.

But my FAVORITE studio over them all is one of the oldest.

The Fleischer Brothers studio is the best, bar none.

Of the choices provided I'd probably have to go with Warner Bros but I used to really like when they'd show ones that were based on the Harvey characters, too. Like Baby Huey, Casper, Herman & Katnip, Little Audrey. I don't recall who made those.
