That's a tough one! I'd say a tie between Filmation and Hanna Barbera

I would say Filmation, then De Patie/Freleng for their Return to the Planet of the Apes Cartoons, and lately Hanna Barbera. With a Honorary Mention for Rankin Bass, they did thunder cats and a few other cartoons.

Hanna-Barbera having a slight edge over Warner Bros.

                          Hmmmm....

From that list I'd hafta go HB. They made "SwatKats," and a bunch of other stuff I like. If you had Ruby/Spears on there I'd be tempted to go with them, 'cos they made "Thundarr the Barbarian."

Hard to choose. If I can break it into categories, Rankin Bass wins for holiday specials and gets the sentimental vote. Filmation for adventure strips, and Warner bros for humor, quality, and originality.

I find it interesting Disney wasnt on the list?

Actually, I was thinking of stuff back in the day....(1970s). There were Disney shorts and Disney movies...but not after school or Saturday morning cartoons (not unless you count the Mickey Mouse Club).
