I've hit a deer (that one slammed into the side of my car), a coyote, two cats, numerous squirrels, a skunk, a bird or two, a frog and a duck. I wasn't aiming for any of them, honest! I usually feel sick to the stomach afterwards, it's not fun, especially with the bigger animals.

It happens. I hit a turtle once. Wasn't on purpose. I felt pretty bad.

I know, how do you hit a turtle of all things? I saw it crossing the road on the interstate and tried to strattle it but it wasn't far enough into the road and I hit it with my tire. I remember seeing the shell fly up in the air in the rear view mirror. I felt so bad.

I was driving my truck once on semi back road..

I seen a turtle on the road so I stopped to get him off the road.

Damn thing was a snapping turtle and almost bit me.
