What did you have growing up -- all the way to today ?
In the early to mid 70's we always had a cedar .....
My mom used to insist on cedar because she said her mom and pop always had a cedar too.
She called it a poor old timers tree
In the later 70's we just had normal tree's like you'd see on a tree farm.
I don't know the type, but they were kind of lime colour and had branches that looked like tarantual legs.
By the 80's, we went 6ft fake tree
By the late 80's the fake tree was only 4ft.
What was your tree timeline ?
BTW,
Growing up, my neighbour and best buddy always used to have a live tree.
His old man would plant it after Christmas ....
You should see them tree's today.
They're like freaking 40 ft tall now
