Oldest son is named Grant. I liked the name because of General/President Grant and had a strong sounding name and not one that was very common 14 years ago.

My daughter's name is Caroline named after Caroline Kennedy.

Oops...I meant to say her middle name is Caroline.

I also wanted my oldest son's middle name to be Lee (which is my middle name). My wife thought it was over the top corny to be named after two Civil War generals.

My son is named after Rowan Atkinson (black adder/mr. bean). I'm completely serious. He loves his name, but wasn't that thrilled when we saw Mr. Bean while flipping channels and I told him that was his namesake. Not thrilled at all.

We used to have next door neighbor whose kids were named Luke and Leah. And they are twins. The kids were my sons age and shockingly, before we moved in, it seems no one ever asked them about Star Wars... It used to make the mom SO mad when ever she would introduce the kids to anyone at our house. The person would always hear the names, kind of get a glassy eyed look, and blurt "Like Star Wars?". She would practically screech back "No! Like the BIBLE!" and stomp off.

Only in detergents as fas as I know.

Ajax gets overlooked in the Iliad, and is overshadowed by Achilles...but Ajax was also one bad mutha, who had Hector on the ropes, but somehow ended up in a draw.

My first dog was named "Scout" after the character in "To Kill a Mockingbird" I heard that Demi Moore named her daughter Scout for the same reason but my dog was born first.

Awesome album man. I am a huge BNL fan. I was actually at their live concert that was on pay per view. It was my boys first concert. It was at the venue I worked at but I had the night off cuz I wanted to watch the show rather than work.

I don't see the problem with naming your kids after fictional characters. I did and Bugs Bunny, Puffinstuff, and Scooby Dooby Doo Gregory have had no ill effects. Not many friends though. Hmmmmm maybe I should have thought it out.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
