Now THAT was GOOD! Nothing like watching Star Trek kick some Star Wars BUTT!!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true." -

The only reason Vader beat them is because it was Picard and his hapless band....Now if Jimmy T was running the show, he would have blown that star destroyer into next week before Vader could say "Whoa Nellie"!!!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

The Force gives the Empire an advantage...but as far as technology is concerned...the Federation is way more advanced...that's why this video is so brilliant, lol.
However, I can't picture Vader being able to choke multiple people like that...that was a crock, lol.

I'm not gonna go the "techie" route and try to philosophize
about how one universe is more powerful or adept than the other
in fantasy terms...
I WILL say that STAR WARS is the better franchise though.
Jedis, Siths, The Force, Light Sabers, Force Choke, Carbon Freeze,
Han Solo, Yoda, Chewie, R2-D2, Slave Leia, Lando Calrissian,
Millenium Falcon, X-Wing Fighters, Tie Fighters, "I am your father",
Jabba The Hutt, The Death Star, Mos Eisley Cantina, The Rancor,
Jawas, Sand People, The Sarlacc, Darth Maul and Jango and Boba Fett?
It'd be very hard for me to see a simillar list of Trek's coolest icons
or memorable moments and have it measure up to STAR WARS'.
Granted I'm not a Trek kinda guy really to begin with----but that's
kinda the point, isn't it?
Believe me, I was wide open for "conversion" in the early 90s--
I was a big TNG fan-and even found myself exploring TOS at that
time----still----no dice. ....STAR WARS baby!Last edited by huedell; Dec 6, '08, 6:35 AM."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment
