    Twilight The Movie

I have a teenage daughter and this book and movie is all the rage.

I'm sure I'll be taking her to see it. Anyone else going to see the movie and is there anyone out there jazzed up about this besides the teenage girls?

I'll wait for the DVD or maybe just Ondemand. Can't see spending $9-$10 bucks a ticket to see a teeny bopper movie.

My daughter is obsessed with this book and the movie....I had to tape the segment with "Edward" and "Bella" from the "Today Show" this morning for her. I told her she's officially a "geek"...just not the comic book geek I was hoping for.

I Saw the Previews and I'm not interested in seeing it at the Theater. If It came out on Tv I would Probably watch it.

I was surprised more MM aren't into this regardless of it's
                  teen/soap approach-----isn't SMALLVILLE like this?

Yeah, my wife is into this and the books, as well. I could care less. Fortunately, she's going to see the movie with her sister next week Friday.

It's the classic story of an outcast hunk who falls for this girl just waiting to blossom, told with the very stylized twist of making the guy a vampire. I give the author props. It's a great approach to an often overworked theme.

My wife and 6 of her friends are heading out tonight on a "ladies night out" to see it. I have yet to read any of the books, but my wife keeps saying that we'll see it together later.

                            >there are 4 books so far(total)..

So.... a series with 4 books has a big budget movie made, but Terry Pratchett has written 40+ Discworld books and all we get is a direct to video film?!?!?!

I definitely wouldn't go see it in its first couple of days. The theatre is going to be packed with teenage girls. Trust me. We did a midnight show last night during a blizzard and there was still a big crowd. 90 plus percent were teenage girls.
