TV been doing this for years. I remember a episode of the Six million dollar man based on the Chirstmas Carol theme in which Steve Austin is in a toy store and on the shelf behind him is a row of Kenner Six Million Dollar Man figures. There is also a episode of the New Adventures of Wonder Woman,(The Man Who Could Move The World airdate 30 September 1977), were Wonder Woman stubbles on a desk covered with Wonder Woman items including a Mego Comic Action Wonder Woman figure.

Those are Kenner, not Mattel, hun.

I know the TV series 7th Heaven pushed Horizon milk.

        YouTube - #79 - 'Superman II' - Product Placement Top 100

I blame Superman each time I butt a cigarette out into a famous bowl.
To me it had a different meaning.

The Marlboro truck is smashed by having Supes thrown there...it's a subliminal message to smash all cigarettes by the powers of good.

I dunno.... I think the worst was "Top Gun." The whole movie. I was expecting Pepsi logos on the helmets. My fave is the Pepsi machine in the background when Val and Tom are talking in the conference room.... the machine that's always behind each of them.

            This talk reminds me,

Back in the 80's I bought this Stephen King audio book.

I think it was called either The Mist or The Fog or something like that.

The plot was a group of people trapped in a grocery store.

You would not believe how many real products were sneaked into that audio book.

Example ----- They're coming !!!! block the door with those cases of Pepsi Cola !!!
