Finally finished my Bathroom,watcha think?

Reminds me I gotta get moving on mine. I will NOT escape with a $600 bill, as I will have to gut it to address the *structural* issues, then go back and do the cosmetics.

It's far better to buy a house in bad shape than it is to buy one that looked nice enough when you made the offer because it was spruced up by a do it yourselfer who had no clue what they were doing...

Very Nice job. Can't beat that DIY feeling and great deals to boot. Love that shower curtain too.

I created a vanity for my kids/guest bathroom from an old dresser I found. Replaced the 30 year old built in painted cabinet and slab mirror. A little wainscot, new paint, light fixture and floor tiles. Totally improved the look and everyone thinks we spent a ton of money.

Yard sale dresser $30, $40 for the sink bowl and around 25 for the faucet. Add 12 coats of poly to try and keep the water off.

I think the mirror was 30 or 40 bucks at Lowes. My wife bought it.

Projects like these can be done for relatively little money and make a big impact. Thanks for the compliments

Looks great man! I only hope mine comes out half as decent. I just started today and am stripping it right down to the studs. Got to drywall the entire thing, new tub/surround, cabinets, sink, the whole shot. I'm a little overwelmed at the moment. Seeing your pics make it seem like it's all going to be worth it.
