More new Metallica songs

I love how Lars Ulrich is on YouTube now basically begging the fans to do remixes of their songs and upload them. "See! Forget Napster! We're still cool! We're still relevant! Really! Come back and buy this new disc! St. Anger? Well, that was our psychotherapist! Pleeaaaase, kids! I still am inclined to rock."

Right. I was at IU when they sued the school for student downloads, and a few hundred thou of tax and tuition money went to sate their greedy nonsense. No sale past the Black Album. Sorry.

am i the only one who hates metallica old or new. i mean the way people talk about them, there not the beatles or even van halen.

I like a lot of their pre-St. Anger stuff. The way that they softened over the years didn't bother me. As for the new CD, it doesn't do much for me. I've listened to it four times over my ride to work the past two weeks, and the only song that I would put on a Metallica mix would be Day That Never Comes. The rest reminds me of a good Metallica knock-off.

I'd posted a rant here regarding Metallica and the whole Napster/downloading thing, but honestly it's not worth getting into a fight or arguement with anyone over it, so I deleted it.

I have no issues with Metallica at all, and gladly gave them my $10 for the new cd, I think it's great
